DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again . . . the 4th Saturday of the month and that means its Quilts For Kids Sew Day at The Quilter’s Nook.\nWe have plenty of donated fabric. All you need is your time and a sewing machine to help put together a quilt to give to a sick child in the hospital.\nOur quilts have been donated to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital\, Lutheran Children’s Hospital in Fort Wayne\, Community Hospital East and Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Riley Children’s Hospital’s “Cheer Department” told me they hand out 1\,000 quilts a month. They are needing quilt donations for all of those little kids!!\n“Quilts for Kids” is a non profit organization that we will be sewing quilts for. Their mission statement is:\n“Transforming fabrics into patchwork quilts that comfort children in need.
