This is my version of Whimsy Turndash. It was fun to explore what could be done with this block.
I took the square squared block and added a four patch. this gave it a little pizazz! I then took a look at the little houses blocks. They could use something too. I made hourglass blocks and used the Corner Pop tool to pop the corners off of them. I think they look nice. I turned the half square triangles so all the white flowed together. I hope you like what I did with this blockbuster block.
Starting February 2nd, we’ll be working on another blockbuster. We’ll take a look at the 54-40 or fight block. Come back on the 2nd to see what fabric I’ll be using for this block.
